 FRIDAY, 29 OCTOBER - SKIP 1 MEAL 

Pray for righteous leaders to be voted into authority. (Proverbs 29:2)

​

Lord Jesus, united, we pray that South Africans will vote for leaders who—

​

• are humble and have servant hearts (Matthew 20:26)

• are fair and honest (Proverbs 29:14)

• seek godly counsel and wisdom (Proverbs 11:14)

• fear God and are trustworthy (Exodus 18:21)

• are faithful and responsible (Luke 16:10)

• lead with a passion for the Lord (Romans 12:8)

• act with righteousness and integrity (Proverbs 16:12)

• are honourable and have high moral principles (Ecclesiastes 10:17)

• despise bribery and dishonest gain (Proverbs 29:4)

 SATURDAY, 30 OCTOBER - SKIP 1 MEAL 

Pray for righteousness to increase in South Africa so our nation will prosper. (Proverbs 14:34)

​

Heavenly Father, we come together as a nation, and we pray that—

​

• every city be exalted through the blessing of the upright (Proverbs 11:11)

• righteousness will exalt South Africa (Proverbs 14:34)

• our leaders will be established in righteousness (Proverbs 16:12)

• that every wicked leader will be removed (Proverbs 25:5)

• righteousness will increase in South Africa (Proverbs 29:2)

• we will be protected through righteousness (Isaiah 54:14)

• our land will be filled with justice (Isaiah 33:5)

• we will obey Your Word and be blessed (Deuteronomy 11:27)

• we will put your Kingdom first and prosper (Malachi 3:10)

Pray for South Africa to turn back to God and His righteousness. (Matthew 6:33)

​

Lord, we cry out to You with one voice and mind. We pray that—

​

• South Africa will return to You with brokenness (Joel 2:13)

• we will acknowledge our mistakes (Hosea 14:1)

• You will also return to us (Zechariah 1:3)

• You will restore the land and remove all our unrighteousness (Job 22:23)

• we will turn back to You wholeheartedly (Jeremiah 24:7)

• we will examine our ways (Lamentations 3:40)

• return to You and wait for You continually (Hosea 12:6)

• we will find You as we turn to You in our distress (2 Chronicles 15:4)

• we will forsake our wicked ways (Isaiah 55:7)
